Family Owned. Family and town folks working together with a "Can Do Attitude, willing to serve you and meet your needs", did I say Excellent Arizona Style Mexican Food. Can't go wrong, unless you missed getting there in time. 11 till 9Monday, Tuesday, closed Wednesday, 11 to 9 Thursday, Friday, Saturday and open 10 on Sunday till 8. GREAT HOME TOWN ATMOSPHERE. don't pass this by. Come be treated well.
Update:. LABOR DAY , MONDAY SEPTEMBER 4, 2017 5:30 pm. Recently the power went off in the town of Miami, AZ, but the El Rey Restaurant crew continued on serving their customers. Several more customers and whole families came in, even though it was raining and hailing outside. The El Rey Family and Crew continued on with GREAT SMILES and COURTESY. THEY CONTINUED ONWARD UNTIL ABOUT . 7:00 pm, then hung up a sign on the door that they were closed. Not a small sign but a very readable 8.5 x 11 inch sign.
They had no power and had no cooling in the kitchen but still continued on. The Esparza Family and Crew continued serving their customers till the last ones before the sign placed on door were taken care of and HAPPY. There were folks from Phoenix, New Mexico and many travelers fir for the labor day weekend passing through Miami that took refuge in the El Rey Restaurant.Neat that evening. Myself and my wife were among the customers. Hats off to The Esparza Family, and the El Rey Restaurant Crew. WELL DONE. FOOD WAS FANTABULOUS. FORREST HAMMER.
Been coming here for years. Seems to always rise to the top when it comes to quality and taste. Love the combo corn and flour chips and salsa. Only downer can sometimes be the service and the noise otherwise this is a great hometown eat.
Always go this place when in Miami/Globe area. Love the green chili here, whether in a chimichanga, burro, chili, anything. Friendly and attentive staff combined with good prices make this a must try restaurant.
Many generations of my family have enjoyed this restaurant for many years. So many good memories shared here while eating many fantastic meals. Great quality and superior customer service. Thank you guys for all the love!
